Normally, I would have written this blog entry last night before I went to sleep. But today was the last day of my Vacation Time Off from work. I also would have gone back to working on my scriptwriting. Didn’t do that either. Even though, I still haven’t gotten the prompt for this month on the WDC Short Story contest.

I’m not surprised about the WDC Short Story prompt. I was hoping that it would have shown up today. But I’m not surprised that it didn’t. If we are lucky, it may come out in another day or two. What does that mean for my scriptwriting? It means that I had the whole day to work on either my Water Wars project or my The Final Ritual project or both. But I didn’t do either one.

So, why didn’t I work on either one of these projects? It’s because the move from our old place to our new house may be complete. But getting our new house ready to live in still has a lot of work to get done. That is what we have been doing all day. It’s also the reason why I haven’t been able to do any writing today.

In fact, this is the first chance that I have gotten to get on my laptop today. That’s how busy it has been for us today. And the only reason why I’m on it now is that I don’t want to miss another blogging day. I’m not sure which blog journal I missed a few months ago. But I don’t want it to happen again.

I think I know what the new WDC Short Story contest prompt will be. I’m just not sure which genre it is. Once I know this, I will be able to get started on it. Hopefully, it won’t be another last-second entry like it was last month. I don’t think that it will, though. Now that our move is over, I shouldn’t have too much problem writing it. No matter which genre it is.

Of course, I still don’t know which post I will be going to be working at yet. And that’s if I’m working for the same company that I have been working for. Right now, even that is up in the air. I do have a couple of other possible job aspects. Only one involves security work. And even that one I’m not sure if I will be able to do any writing at work.
