So Far, Nothing written

Unfortunately, it has been an extremely busy today when it comes to us moving to our new house. And it started very early this morning at about nine AM WDC time. That’s eight AM my time. But it took us the whole day to do it. It was supposed to be just a clean-up of the trash and move a few things down here. Then tomorrow we were going to clean the place up somewhat and then turn in our keys.

That is still the plan for tomorrow. But it may be Tuesday the thirty-first that we turn in the keys. Mostly, because I don’t want to do it until then because of all the bull they have given us about this move. But my brother wants to give them back as soon as we can. This may be tomorrow, or it could be Tuesday. I’m hoping for Tuesday. And there is a very good chance it may be Tuesday. After all, we still need to get a few things once we finish up the clean-up.

I think that we can get all of it done tomorrow. But my brother isn’t so sure. If I’m right about this, I’m wrong about it being Tuesday. On the other hand, if I’m wrong, then it’s my brother who is wrong. Ironically, I lose either way. If I’m right about it being done tomorrow, then I’m wrong about it being the end of the month.

Speaking of the end of the month, I only have two days to finish writing my WDC Short Story for this month. And the way things have been happening, it doesn’t look like I’m going to get it done in time. I can still do it. But it means maybe another all-nighter. And I don’t really want to do that. Of course, it won’t be too bad if we do get everything done tomorrow and we turn in the keys.

Still have about a thousand words for this Short Story left to write. I have done that in one day in the past. But I haven’t done that in years. Not even sure if I can do it anymore. I think that I have done it more recently. But I’m not sure if I have done it that soon or not. Think I have, though. Just not sure which deadline I was doing it for. The WDC Short Story contest or the other one that I have been entering up until a couple of months ago when it went into hiatus for a month.

Don’t know what is going to happen tomorrow. But now I’m hoping that we will get it all done tomorrow. And get it done fast so that I can get this Short Story finished tomorrow. Even if it means that I need to do an all-nighter in order to do it.
