Pro Tip: Judges and Contest Owners Can (and Apparently Should) Use Plagiarism Checkers to Verify Original Work

Find the plagiarism checker of your choice online and test it against your own work to get a feel for how it works. Only use ones that allow you to see where the work is plagiarized from to ensure it's not reporting on items from the person's own WdC portfolio. *Laugh*

Bonus: Many sentences appear all over the web. It's not about each sentence being nowhere else, but about the sentences not all being from the same site. *Wink*

Double Bonus: Judges and contest owners can also copy and paste entries into their Notepad's ScratchPad to verify the word count against the word count WdC gave the user since different word counters may count things differently as below...

Bye-bye!
Well--I don't think so.
Uhh...I guess.

Using the WdC word counter in the ScratchPad allows you to check word counts without saving the work.
