Worse Than I Thought I Remembered
Worse Than I Thought I Remembered

I knew that it had been quite a while since I worked on my third Outline for the October Prep Challenge this year. But I didn’t think that it had been that long for me to not remember where I left off with it. Unfortunately, it must have been since I was way off on where I thought that it was. Not only was I way off, but it was worse than I thought.

Unfortunately, I only got about twenty single paragraphs written for this Outline aka four chapters. Three numeric chapters and the Introduction. That means that I had one hundred and ninety single paragraphs to write to finish this Outline. With only nine days left until this Outline is due for this challenge, that averages out to be twenty-one to twenty-two per day.

That’s not too bad. I could have gotten about twenty-five to thirty earlier today at work if something hadn’t happened there that slowed my writing down a little bit. As a result, I barely got twenty single paragraphs written for Saturday. That’s almost what I needed for my daily goal. So, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was yesterday at work. Hopefully, it will be the same tomorrow. If not a little bit better than that.

Hopefully, it will be a little bit better than that. Like about twenty-five to thirty better. after all, this is the weekend aka Sunday. That gives me about eleven hours of writing that I can do. I only got about six on Thursday and Friday morning. So, I will be lucky if I get twenty-one or twenty-two per day on those days.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t include my days off. Usually, I don’t have too much time on my days off to do any writing. And when I do have some time, it normally isn’t that much time. As a result, I may have a lot of trouble getting twenty-one to twenty-two single paragraphs written for this Outline. That’s why I need to do about double on the weekends.

I also have two more short stories to write for this challenge too. If I remember correctly, only one is due before this Outline is due. So, that might not be too big of a problem. Especially, since these last two short stories probably won’t be as long as the first two. Then again, they may be even longer. You never know when it comes to me.

Still may be able to get this Outline written before it’s due. I’m not going to count on that until it happens, though. A lot depends on how many chapters I can get done tomorrow. If I can get twenty-five to thirty or more, then I might make it. Even if I don’t, I should be close enough to finish it by the end of this challenge. I would rather not wait that long, though.
