Almost Seven Hundred

Another very good day when it comes to the novel, Professional Eliminators, I’m trying to write for this year’s NaNoWriMo challenge. I did almost seven hundred words earlier today at work. Don’t ask me how I did it because I don’t know.

All that I do know is that when I started writing I couldn’t stop myself until I finished writing whatever I wanted to write. The only thing that stopped me from writing was work. And that didn’t slow me down that month. As soon as I was finished with work I went back to my writing.

Is it getting easier for me to write this novel? It looks that way to me. I know that I’m not going to reach my goal of fifty thousand words for this challenge. But I may get a lot closer to it than I expected to get there. About twenty to twenty-five thousand.

It will probably be closer to twenty than twenty-five. I’m hoping that it will be closer to twenty-five. After all, that would be halfway to my goal for this month. It’s not my goal. But it’s the closest I have gotten to it so far. That isn’t saying much. It is saying I’m getting better at this.

Maybe in another year or two of trying this, I might just reach that goal. I might not make it next year. But I might do it in two years. That’s right. I will be accepting this challenge next year. I’m not sure about two years from now. But I will probably do it then too.

I’m just not sure which novel I will try next. It could be a Horror/Scary novel, or it could be in the Drama family. The Drama family includes Medical, Crime, or Family. If it is a Drama, it will probably be a Crime Drama. Then again, it could be a Medical Drama or a Family Drama.

Since this year it’s a Science Faction, I mean Science Fiction, novel, next year it won’t be. That’s why I’m thinking more about a Horror/Scary novel instead of one of the Drama. The year after next, I will probably return to Science Faction, I mean Science Fiction.

Any one of the Dramas could be a good Science Faction, I mean Science Fiction, novel. I could even combine them into one novel. Could do that for next year if I were to stick with Science Faction, I mean Science Fiction. But I’m probably still sticking with Horror/Scary.

Enough with what is going to happen in the future. Now back to the present. I only have about three hundred words left to finish part three of the first chapter of this novel. Should be able to get that done tomorrow. Might even be able to finish part four too.
