Very Busy Today, But
Very Busy Today, But

I got a lot of work done on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, it wasn’t done at work. Well, in a way, it was accomplished at work. It only took me almost my entire shift to get my Numeric Character Placement finished. Why did I take so long to get it done? Because I thought I was ready to start my handwriting on this project, but I was wrong about that.

When I got to work, I started getting set up to begin working on this project, but I wasn’t as ready to start it as I thought I would be. That’s because I misread the spreadsheet on it. As a result, I wasn’t ready to start working on it. Unfortunately, it took almost my whole shift to get it ready, but I did it.

So, what did I do wrong? As I did with my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual, I was willing to have my Numeric Character Placement be one Act between them, but I didn’t want them to be side by side with no Acts between them. That’s what I was doing all day at work earlier today. Trying to figure out the spreadsheet for this project.

Of course, I couldn’t do the actual spreadsheet until I got home from work since I’m not allowed to bring my laptop to work like I think everyone else can do. It looks like I’m being treated differently at work again. I’m hoping that I’m wrong about this, but it’s starting to look like I’m not.

Once I got home, I started working on this spreadsheet. Usually, after I get home from work on a Sunday, I try to get some sleep. I didn’t do that today, though. Instead, I started working on this spreadsheet. I got quite a bit done on this project today. Did an Outline Drop for each of the six episodes for it. Not only did I do the Outlines, but I also did the Act Breakdowns too.

What are an Act Breakdown and an Outline Drop? An Act Breakdown is a breakdown of what each character is going to be doing in that Act. Each character has a specific number of scenes in every Act. This is a breakdown of these characters. What their storyline is for this episode or movie introduction.

An Outline Drop is my own creation. All it means is that I have created the documents for these Outlines. Unfortunately, it took me most of the afternoon to accomplish all of this. What does that mean for my writing? It means that I haven’t officially started writing this project yet. I’m hoping to start working on this project tomorrow. If I have the time to do it.

I know that my brother and I have a few things that we need to get done tomorrow. So, I don’t know how much time I will have for this project. if I have any time at all tomorrow or Tuesday. Unfortunately, I may be too busy Tuesday to get too much written on this project either. I’m hoping that I do, though.

I’ve got the documents for this project created. Now all I need to do is start filling these documents with my single sentences. Starting with my Act Breakdowns, then going to Story Outlines, and then finally to my Scene Outlines. Don’t how far I will get the next three days off from work, but I should be able to get enough of it to start working on it at work next Wednesday.
