There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories.

Still Eight

Still Eight

Unfortunately, I haven’t had a single second to work on my WDC Short Story for this month. That’s because it has been a very typical Tuesday. In the past, Tuesdays were sometimes very dead, and sometimes they were extremely busy. Today was one of the busiest second days off from work. From the time I got up very early this morning until almost when I started writing this blog entry, I have been busy doing one thing or another.

Now the big question is what am I going to do? There is only one thing I can do. I can’t write eight sections in one day aka tomorrow. So, I either need to work on it at work Thursday and maybe Friday, or I need to try to get this done on my next days off from work aka next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Sometimes I can’t do that because the end of the month is one of those days. That’s not true this month.

The only way that I can do that is to write my second Short Story this month at work. After all, I will be writing it by hand at work and transcribing that writing to my laptop after I get home from work. It’s best to do that from scratch than it is when part of the WDC Short Story has already been written. If I do it like that, I probably won’t be getting my second Short Story written this month, and I really want to do both.

My other choice is to continue working on my WDC Short Story for this month at work. It will take Thursday, maybe Friday, to finish it. That would leave me the weekend and my days off from work to finish the second one. One way or another, I will get the WDC Short Story finished by the end of this month. It’s the second Short Story this month that I’m worried about. I may not get it written after all.

Will I continue working on this WDC Short Story after I finish writing and posting this blog entry? I know what I should be doing and what I want to do, but I don’t think that I will be able to do that. After all, I also didn’t get too much sleep yesterday. What does that mean for my writing? It means that I will most likely be going to sleep soon after I post this blog entry for today.

Whether I write this WDC Short Story at work on not depends on how many parts of this Short Story I can get done tomorrow before I go to work at midnight. If I can get three or four sections done tomorrow, then taking it to work shouldn’t be a problem, but if I don’t get that many written, it may be best to start from scratch and get my second story written at work, and write my WDC Short Story on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday of next week.
