A New Weekday Record?

Some of my Fridays have been good for me when it comes to my writing. Especially my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Quite a few have been very good. I don’t think this is one of the very good Fridays. Because I think it’s the best one. Don’t know without looking up every Friday, but I think thirty-eight in one day is a new record for single paragraphs.

Yesterday, I did thirty, and I think that was probably a new record for a Thursday. I was hoping to get at least a few more written earlier today at work. Not only did I get them done, but I got five more written too. Don’t ask me how I did it. Because I don’t know. Once my fingers started handwriting, I couldn’t stop them. Of course, that isn’t completely true.

Unfortunately, I did have to stop for work, and that did add about an hour and a half to my not writing. That means I did thirty-eight single paragraphs to end Part One and get into Act Three of Part Two in about six hours. That’s about six, seven on a couple of them, per hour or about ten minutes. It’s a little bit less than ten minutes because of work too.

Each hour I spend checking out the cameras, and they take about five to ten minutes to do that. I look up to check them every few seconds to minutes, but once an hour I check each one of them individually. So, it’s not quite six hours for my writing. It’s more like five to five and a half on a weekday. That’s even better than I thought considering I did thirty-eight today.

If my spontaneous out-of-the-air math is correct, I have thirty-two more single paragraphs to write to end my Story Outline for Part Two of this project. What does that mean for Episode One, Some of the Adults? It means I should be able to get about two or three Acts done in it tomorrow at work. And since eighteen are three-liners, it should be three Acts.

Can I write fifty-nine single paragraphs in one Saturday? I don’t know if I can or not, but after the last couple of days, it’s a very good possibility. I may even be able to get more than that. I’m not going to count on that until it happens. If I’m lucky, I may get the fifty-nine. I think I can get fifty-nine, but I’m not sure if I can get more than that, though.

All that I do know is that the way things are going this week I may get to Episode Two, Not Hiding in Darkness, this week too. The last time I did these it was a three-episode work week. This time it may be four or at least part of four. I don’t know if I can get all of Episode Two written, but I think that I may be able to get half of it done. Maybe a little bit more than that.
