Single Paragraphs Today

When I got to work earlier today, midnight to be exact, I only had twenty-six single paragraphs to write to finish writing Act Four for my first episode, Some of the Adults, of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. unfortunately, I missed that by only one. That’s right. I got twenty-five single paragraphs written today at work.

True, this is Act Four, and Act Fours is like Act Twos. They are more Action oriented than Act Ones and Act Threes. The Teaser Acts and the Tag Acts start and end an episode. So, they are usually more like Acts One and Three than Two and Four. What I’m trying to write is that I’m not surprised I got twenty-five single paragraphs written earlier today at work.

It's true. This was a typical Act Four. It has been a more Action oriented Act. No wonder I almost ended it. Unfortunately, I didn’t. That means I have twenty-three more single paragraphs to write before I finish this episode. That’s this one to end Act Four, twenty for the Tag Act, and probably only two Establishing Shots. This is all I need to finish this Act.

If tomorrow was a weekday like it has been the last couple of days, I would probably barely get this episode finished. That’s if I’m lucky. After all, I do have new responsibilities at work now. That does slow me down a little bit when it comes to my writing. It hasn’t affected me too much in that regard, but it has affected me a smidgen.

Tomorrow isn’t a weekday. It’s a Saturday, and I should be able to get this episode done by about halfway through my shift. After all, I got five hours to finish this episode. That’s about four or five single paragraphs per hour. That is what I have been doing during the week. So, there shouldn’t be any problems for me over the weekend. Then again, it might be now.

After all, I do have more responsibilities at work now. It shouldn’t affect my writing that much. If it affects, it at all. Probably won’t be breaking any more records with forty-five or more single paragraphs, but I may be able to get forty to forty-five during the day. I’m hoping I can still get over forty to forty-five or more, but I doubt it.

I don’t know what will happen to me at work tomorrow and Sunday when it comes to how many single paragraphs will get written, but I do know one thing. I’m going to be starting my second episode, Not Hiding in Darkness, tomorrow. Probably around the start of the second half of my shift. Maybe a little bit before that. It could go either way.

It all depends on how hectic it gets at work tomorrow. If it’s a fairly normal Saturday, except for the new responsibilities, it shouldn’t be any problems. I don’t think the new responsibilities will slow me down that much with my writing, but it could be a little bit. However, many single paragraphs I get done tomorrow, and I’m going to get as many of them written as I can.
