Episode Four Update

Normally, I would be working on my short stories for this month or at least starting to work on them, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen this month. I may have one this month, but I thought that about last month, and it didn’t work out so well. We never got a prompt last month that that contest.

It doesn’t look like I will this month either, but it’s still early enough in the month, it still may happen. As for the two short stories that I did last month, I doubt that I’m going to be entering the WDC Short Story this month since it’s not a Short Story month. it doesn’t happen too often, but something it’s poetry instead of a Short Story. This is one of those months.

The second Short Story I wrote for last month, isn’t going to have a contest this month. maybe not even next month, but they will be back. They just aren’t sure when that will be yet. At least that admitted that now instead of a week or two or longer, if ever like some contests don’t do.

If I do ever get my normal second Short Story prompt, I will start working on it. I’m not going to count on that until it happens. So, what am I going to do the next three days aka my days off from work? I could relax for the next three days. Especially, since tomorrow is a holiday here in the United States. After all, it’s the fourth of July tomorrow.

I’m not going to do that? One way or another, I try to write something. Whether it’s a Short Story or one of my scriptwriting projects, I try to work on it every day. Often, I can’t do that, but there is usually a little bit of time each day I can devote to my writing. Even if it’s only an hour or two.

Today I devoted my hours to working on my Episode Four, Probable Death, Water Wars scriptwriting project. Usually, I only work on that at work. It’s different this time. That’s because I’m almost starting over from scratch with it. The storylines are the same. It’s how I’m writing it that is different. So far, I have done quite well in getting it ready for when I go back to work.

Normally, I wouldn’t have too much time to devote to my writing on a Monday, but today I did. Maybe it’s because it’s the Fourth of July tomorrow, or maybe there’s another reason. All that I know is that my brother and I didn’t have too much that needed to be done today. As a result, I had a lot of time for my writing.

Not only did I get my single sentence planning done for my Act Breakdown, My Story Outline, and my Scene Outline written today, but I also got started on writing those single sentences. At least I did for my Act Breakdown. Depending on tomorrow and Wednesday, I should get this done before I go back to work Wednesday night/Thursday morning.
