A Very Good Thursday
A Very Good Thursday

Earlier today at work was very good for me. I did have a few hiccups, but overall, it was very good. After all, I did get twenty-three single paragraphs written for a weekday aka Thursday morning. Twenty-two of them were numeric and one was an Establishing Shot. That’s very good for me. Especially, considering I did have a few hiccups along the way.

What were my hiccups this time? Sometimes it’s a lack of sleep or a lack of concentration, and sometimes it’s work. It was none of these earlier today. Unfortunately, it was me. I had a little bit of trouble writing several of my single paragraphs earlier today. As a result, I could have gotten one or two more single paragraphs written. Maybe even a third one.

I knew what I wanted to write with those paragraphs. Just didn’t know how to write them. Sometimes it was the number of lines for that scene number aka the word count, and sometimes it was how I wanted it written. There are keywords and phrases I want to put in these single paragraphs. That can be very hard to do sometimes. Sometimes it seems like it’s impossible.

I’m kind of surprised that I got twenty-three single paragraphs written earlier today because of these hiccups. After all, it took me about twice as long to write them as it usually does. If I hadn’t had that many hiccup problems, I would have probably gotten several more single paragraphs written earlier today at work. Unfortunately, I did have them.

What does that mean for the rest of this episode? It means I have thirteen more numeric scenes before I finish Act Two of this episode. If I can get at least another ten more for Act Three, I may be after to get this episode finished this week after all. How do I figure that? It means I only will need about eighty to ninety to finish it this weekend.

The more I get into Act Three today, the less I need to do this weekend. So, if I can get to between eighty and ninety, I have a very good chance of finishing these single-paragraph Scene Outlines this week. It all depends on how many paragraphs I can complete tomorrow at work. I need it to be at least twenty-three. A few more than that would be even better.

I think I can get a little more than twenty-three tomorrow. After all, it is a Friday, and Fridays are often better than they are on Thursdays when it comes to my writing. Sometimes they’re not better. They are about the same or a little bit less. Lately, they have been around the same or less. I’m hoping this isn’t going to be one of those days tomorrow.

It all depends on how many single paragraphs I get written tomorrow at work on Episode Four, Probable Death, for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I need to get at least another twenty-three single paragraphs written tomorrow if I want to end this episode and these Scene Outlines. A few more than that will be even better. It may mean if I get this done this week or not.
