New Business Ventures

🎂☕🍮It's official! I placed an experimental ad on Craigslist to sell vintage style cakes and pies and ice already gotten my first order.

First order is a hummingbird cake to be picked up on the 15th. Now, let's hope more orders roll in!

🌼A second opportunity arose when my pen pal in China offered a chance to make a little money. He works for a company that primarily sells phone cases on Amazon. He sent me an Amazon gift card, in advance, to purchase a specific phone case. Once I get it I'm supposed to write a review and post it on Amazon. Once it's posted, he'll pay me a small commission. Plus, I get to keep the item purchased and can either resell it or give it away or keep it. The first item will be arriving Sept 7th. So far, he's been true to his word.

....the things I'm doing just to get a laptop😂 the lengths I'll go to just so I can continue being a WDC junkie. 💜

Husband finally has an appointment later today at the workforce solutions and hopefully they will be able to help him get a job.

I've been searching local apartments. Found a few potential possibilities. Will keep my eye on them for when the time comes. I need to hurry and make friends with someone who has a truck. Or, save so I can hire someone. I don't have a lot but I do have medical equipment and my power chair that will need to be moved.

So many changes happening so fast! My to do list has lists of it's own. I need to set up a bookkeeping system now before the cakes start selling fast and I don't get behind. Getting a food handlers card is on my to do list. I need to make that a priority.
