Slightly Better Versus a Little Better
Slightly Better
Versus
a Little Better

Today at work wasn’t as good as it was last Sunday, but it was a little better than yesterday when it comes to the number of scenes and the single paragraphs, I got written for my Water Wars scriptwriting project aka Part One of the Movie Introduction. It was exactly three better than yesterday on both of them.

Earlier today at work I got fifty-five single paragraphs and seventeen scenes written for this Movie Introduction. That’s three more single paragraphs and three more scenes that I got from yesterday. It doesn’t read like a lot more, and it’s not, but it is better than yesterday. Anything more than it should be is always better for me.

I was hoping that I was going to get at least three more single paragraphs. That would have equaled last weekend's total of fifty-eight for both Saturday and Sunday, but I didn’t quite make it. It would have also added another scene to my total for today too. Instead of seventeen, it would have been eighteen.

Once again, that’s much of an increase, but it would have been better if I had gotten it. After all, now I don’t know if last week was a fluke, or I was just off slightly this week, or both. Maybe last week was a fluke. I hope that it wasn’t, but after this week it’s starting to look like it was. Only time will tell if I’m right about this.

Last week was my first official week of starting this script. So, maybe I did do a little better because of it. Once again, I hope it wasn’t. maybe I’m just getting a little bit carried away about what is happening. After all, I was expecting to get five scenes written during the week and ten on the weekends.

I have done a little bit better than that in the last couple of weeks. Last week was very, very good. This week was not so good, but still very good. At least that’s what I think. I did get more than I figured I would get both weeks. The big question is can I keep it going like this or is this week an indication of what is to come?

It could go either way. If last week was a fluke, does that mean this week is closer to what I’m going to be getting done on a daily and weekly basis from now on or will I go down a little bit each week? I’m hoping it will either stay about the same as it did this week or it will be more like last week in the weeks and months to come.

However, I look at it I’m doing better than I thought that I would. After all, I only have eight more scenes to write before I finish writing Act Three. That means I only got sixty-three scenes before I finished Part One of this Movie Introduction. If I keep going like I have been doing, I should have Part One done in a week or two.
