Chicken WonTon Soup

This is a hearty, comforting meal that is sure to warm you up inside and out. A perfect fall dish that is packed with healthy goodness.


YOU NEED:
8 chicken thighs, skinless (but I like the ones with the bones for more flavor)
2 ribs of celery, diced
1 pkg of cabbage filled won tons frozen
2 pkgs of dried cream of mushroom soup (or you can use the cans)
12 mushrooms chopped
1 large onion chopped
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

In a large pot boil your chicken until it is no longer pink inside. Then debone it. If your using boneless chicken, skip this step.

Once everything is chopped, add it to the pot you boiled the chicken in and add the shredded chicken back into the pot. Let boil about 35-40 minutes until the broth has thickened and the won tons are soft and hot all the way through.

Suggested Alternatives:

*Adding extra shredded cabbage or even purple cabbage
* Adding shredded carrots
* Adding diced up potatoes
* Adding tomatoes
* Adding noodles


paprika, soy sauce, rice or oyster sauce would also be delicious! What will you add?
