Still feeling mental shit.

I am 50+ years old! Why is my head back in 16 yr old mentality?!

I am an idiot. My emotions are making me an idiot.

So... how did I cope today?

Far better than yesterday, that's for sure. Because I wrote. Woke up at 5, wrote. Had a shower, got an email reminding me I owed Weekend Notes a record review, so finished that this morning. It was mostly done, just needed an edit and a reduction in gushing. Great album.

Back to the story. All day writing and writing and not thinking about that which is upsetting my head.

I became frustrated with the actions of a character, and so I stopped.

So, we have the kids coming together after threats from Adam, but Adam turns up at a bonfire, and it is apparent he already has some of the fire powers. Meanwhile, Raven has to pretend he burnt her, and she only lets Kurt know she is pretending. We are seeing some of her power coming through as well. That is where I stopped.

Kurt is annoying me. He is starting to feel a little too perfect. I need to make him more of teenager. He is based very, very loosely on my son; maybe I need to pull him closer to the lad. For what it's worth, Raven is a construct based on Germanic mythology. Christina, who I have decided will use this party to hook up with Kurt (it was going to happen later, but this party works) is based on a girl I knew many years ago, plus an old girlfriend of mine, plus a young woman I worked with two years ago.

The characters are writing themselves, but I do have rein Kurt in.

Total words: 17346
Daily words: 5228

Now I am writing a (hopefully) comedic poem about Australian summers.

Fuck my head, though.
