I'm just really happy with this little section, so I had to share:
I was telling half-truths to everyone I knew and loved, I felt I was protecting a dangerous psychopath, I had seen things that could not have possibly been real, and I did not know if I had a way out of it without hurting too many and getting myself in trouble.
In my own head, I was the bad guy in all of this.
Yes, it's a 1st person PoV story. Don't care what experts say - I've sold enough of them, including my biggest selling book Invasive Species.
