Ramblings from my mind!

Congratulations
I think congratulations are in order. I applied for graduate school about a month ago and just received word today that I have been accepted. I am not sure how I feel since I was wavering between two schools with the same program. One is a more traditional graduate school but prestigious. The other is a non-traditional school which is planned for the student to be done in just about 2 years. The required credits for either program is 48 credits. The non-traditional school runs straight through the two years. It is relentless. I am finishing my bachelor's degree up in this way. I am exhausted. In the traditional school, I would set my own pace and runs in 15 week segments. In the non - the classes are 8 weeks each. It can get a little overwhelming.

I have accepted the offer from the traditional school. I guess the one thing I keep thinking about is I've always wanted to go to this school. My grandmother retired from there. It seems like it is family tradition but that no one actually has gotten their degree from this school. In all actuality I will be the first female from either side of my family to get a bachelor's degree. Definitely the first for the master's degree. I am in uncharted waters and it is a little scary.

Wish me luck for my job interview tomorrow. I need to find a regular day position in order to go to either school anyway. Hopefully this will work out.
