My Life on a Plate

Abbreviation for Sunday, sweet Sunday with nothing to do. Or in my case, plenty to do but no inclination to do it.

It was a lovely day out yesterday, fine weather, good company and a continual flow of wine. I really could do with more outings like that...sigh. All over in the blink of an eye though, as are most things we enjoy. No rude comments thank you. lol

I should have taken advantage of my relaxed, mellow state and had an early night. But why change the habits of a lifetime? After seing Nada's lovely photos I thought I'd just load mine into the computer. Then I thought I'll just try downloading one into my portfolio. Failed! I don't like being beaten. Thought I'd just experiment a bit with an imaging programme. Bad decision! Three hours and another few wine glasses later I actually managed to downsize one to fit on here. Success spurred me on to try more but in the end I felt so blurry-eyed and confused I had to admit defeat.

Anyway, I'm going to have another go now; I'm sure I can get there in the end. All those other jobs can wait a while can't they? All I need to know now is how to get the pictures into this b***... er...journal instead of my portfolio. But, there is only so much my little brain can cope with at a time, especially when it's still swimming in dry white.
