My Cats

I don't know if I've written about my cats before. At present I have eight cats. I have Baloo (grandma cat), Rusty (mama cat), Troubles (she earned her name), Spot (OK, I'm a Star Trek fan, but this cat really does have a spot), Lion (walks like a lion), Prince (a regal cat), Beauty (looks like her name), and Midnight (looks like the night sky). I also have a pet fanciers permit. There was a time when I had ten cats - Vashtie (she was a Queen) and D.C. (most of the time darn cat). I believe I've written poems about all of them. That's not a bad idea for a chapbook, with a picture of each cat next to the poem. Writing descriptions of each cat might be interesting, maybe I can use one of them in the novel I'm writing.
