PATHS OF LOVE


Shall I be, shall I not be,
The object of her heart?
Does she love me, does she not?
How shall I know her art?

Sometimes she throws me a glance,
But sometimes she ignores.
Sometimes she could not care less,
But sometimes she implores.

I often go crazy when
I try to interpret:
Why does she, denying my love,
My company covet?

Paths of love are sweet but long
And, often, testing, too.
I hope one day, in these paths,
I may meet my love true.
