LOVING VERSUS FLIRTING


Shall I seek another curl,
If one does slip away?
Or, shall I retrieve the lost,
Rather than go astray?

Love just happens on its own;
It cannot be arranged.
Love is no commodity,
To be lightly exchanged.

My love is no love if I
Forget my love partner.
I can love only one, though,
I flirt with another.

Loving and flirting are two
Things almost opposite.
Change is against the former,
To latter, apposite.
