Business Dress

Clothes were always hanging low,
Bellies showed an overflow,
Nose, eyebrow, and lip rings glowed
As folks gave a show.

But the news – what change is this?
No belly rings for the miss,
Or tattoos of biker’s bliss,
Or it’s job dismiss?

Whoa, awesome! The tide does turn!
Businesses have had to learn.
That it’s wise to be more stern,
Or customer’s churn.

So although the seventies
Spoke of freedom and of ease,
Bosses found they couldn't please
When clothes looked like sleeze.
