I’M GOING TO DIE
I’M GOING TO DIE

I know I’m going to die.
But, for this, why should I cry?

I know that my heart is weak.
I know that my kidneys leak.
My age is not on my side.
All the treatments I have tried.

For me now there is no cure.
My joint pains I can’t endure.
My eyes are getting hazy.
I am an old man crazy.

Who can, me, rejuvenate?
None. Shall I bemoan my fate?
Shall I be, with every breath,
Afraid of specter of death?

No, why should I fear or fret?
Hope, I shall not give up yet.
Let me pray to Him, my Lord,
Be happy in His accord.
