Phobias
I discovered an interesting website today, it is called the Phobia List and its address is http://phobialist.com/. There are some intriguing phobias listed. A couple of phobias would make it difficult for an astronaut to work. Those are the “fear of gravity” called barophobia and kenophobia, which is the “fear of voids or empty spaces”. The phobias are listed in alphabetical order and each is explained. I have to admit that some of these phobias fascinate me. A number of fears listed would make good flash fiction stories. Most of the fears would give a character in a short story or novel a touch of reality if not insanity.
