HIV you will not win
In breaking my spirit.
You may be incurable,
I would have none of it.

For me you just don’t exist,
I’ll go ahead in life,
Though it may be verily
Difficult, full of strife.

I shall go on undeterred
On the path that He chose.
I won’t let the likes of you,
To terror for me pose.

Man may be as young or old,
As he himself perceives.
In like manner, he may be
Healthy or with disease.
