Live - from the scene - Baby Watch
Gripping, title huh? Down here in S. California, the news teams have a habit of going live on the scene - even hours after the event happened at the scene just to say they're "live!" A frequently used phrase is:

"Live at the scene - Firewatch in Castaic"

So here you have it - Live - at the scene - Baby Watch 2006. haha. *Smile*

Sadly, I waited in the doctor's 45 mins before he saw me. Waiting sucks. He measures me and does his exam. Then he goes, well, you're not quite where I want you to be for an induction. You're 2-3 cm dilated, but you're still "long." Then, bless his soul, he sweeps the membranes. What's that?

Hopefully it works and I go into labor - soon.

I was so bummed out I almost cried in his office. Then he said - no matter what - I won't go past 41 weeks. Thank God! I have another appt on Tues, 19 SEP at 2:50 if I don't go into labor by then.

What can I say? I'm a little disappointed and it's going to be a long if I don't go into labor. I'm so uncomfortable, I can't even describe it. Wish me luck.
