The Perfect Day

    A perfect day, she thought to herself.  For that was all she really wanted.  A perfect day.  In fact, that was all she didn’t have.  For Lila had everything else that most little girls wanted.  She had a pony, stuffed animals, and mountains of candy.  Not to say she was happy, oh no!  In fact, dear Lila was far from happy.  For although she had toys and ponies, what she really longed for was far less material in nature.  What Lila wanted, was sunshine.  But what she needed, was for someone to say no.
