Too purty to live in town.....

After all the dramatical theatrics about Joe not being able to eat because of his mouth, last night after karate, I decided to be a little um.....mean....sort of, in a mommy kind of way.

I went to McDonalds. What 10 year old doesn't salivate when they see those golden arches? I got a burger and fries for me, and just a milkshake for him. I told him that he couldn't get anything else because of his teeth, and that I wasn't sure he could handle the milkshake because of it being too cold. I could see the internal battle going on in his head. It was quite funny. He sucked that baby down! <evil grin>

Then he asked if he could "try" a french fry to see if he could handle it. I very hesitantly said ok, and cautioned him they had much more salt that soup, and he had stated the soup was too salty. He said he wanted to "try to see if he could handle it." Puhleese!!!

He quickly wolfed down the remainder of them!!! So now, his game is over. If he can eat french fries, he can eat bread and butter and mashed taters. I've now proven that it's merely a battle of wills. I'll give you one guess who will win.

I may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but this momma didn't just fall off the turnip truck!!!
