It's about adventure! Life, Scouting, Family, writing what else is there? |
Well, let's see, it's hasn't been long, but busy. The good news on Weight Watchers is that I've lost 2.6 this past week for a grand total of 11 pounds so far. I'm excited. I've been walking over 10,000 steps and on Friday, Brent and I went to the gym to play raquetball. They have an in house babysitting service that watched Joseph. Brent won all the games of course, but I got some good exercise going on! hehe Yesterday, Brent and I took the kids to the Strawberry Festival. It was a blast. Lots of tempting food that I stayed away from. (but I did have a strawberry margerita!) The strawberries were so fresh! I swear, I never tasted Strawberries so fresh in my life! I managed to pick up a copy of the festival poster and the artist who designed it autographed it for me. I was tickled pink by that. hehe On the writing side of the house. I have until 1 JUN to get my final edit of Berlin into the publisher, so if you don't hear from me for a day or two, I'll be slaving over that. Also, Miss Snark, the snarky literary agent is retiring. For those aspiring writers, Miss Snark was honest, fair, and snarky. I enjoyed the blog for the couple of weeks I kept up with it. She'll still leave it up, but she won't be updating. It's a sad day for the snarklings like me... PS... Here's a link to purchase my book, "Across the Fickle Winds of History." You can check out my first draft copy here in my port. http://www.lulu.com/content/433086. |
