Limerick to go
I once met a drug dealer crying
over news that soon she was dying:
It's not all the could'ves,
nor even the should'ves.
I just want to know what I'm buying.

IMAGES:

Last night's laughter and the warm embrace of Engi. Music from the bar above. This morning, street cleaners below the windows and the music of the cell phone's alarm.

MORNING THOUGHTS:

Last night Paige spoke of the need to be in the moment to meditate, that mere isolation in a cabin in the woods is not meditation. Engi added that one can feel totally isolated in NYC. I commented on how I needed to really SEE the alleyways I use daily from new points-of-view.

We are fooled into thinking we speak the same language, that we can use words to understand the heart.
