My blog--I pull a card--if it doesn't speak to me...perhaps it is for you?

salt and dust
little ridinghood by Aunt SunKiss

I am a voracious, indiscriminate reader...OK...don't like romance novels much, but pretty much read anything that piques my interest. But, like most everyone, I don't have the time to devote to reading as much as I'd like. I have discovered Books on CD as a delightful alternative. Currently, I'm enjoying BLUE SHOE by Annie LaMott, a favorite author. I had a great deal of travel time Mon. and Tues. for work, and the trip was so much more enjoyable!

One of my favorite lines is when we'e having unexpected grace in our lives we often wait for the "other shoe to drop"-----well----God only has one shoe!----*Bigsmile*

I love LaMott for being a dread-locked, liberal, for real Christian---putting lie to the current insidious belief that Jesus belongs to the conservative right----well--he doesn't belong to the liberal left, either, but......

There's a new moon in Gemini, Mercury is in retrograde, our ashes taste of salt and dust, and God is doin' the happy dance in heaven with one shoe off and one shoe on like deedle, deedle, dumplin, my son John, or Yeshua, or Buddha, Mohammad, the Bab...sorry if I've excluded anyone!
