Tibetan Buddhist monks came to Naples this past week to create a sacred mandela...to bless our area....and to raise money for their monastery and educate about Tibetan Buddhism.

After spending hours creating the complex, intricate mandela, they will sweep it into a container, and release it into the Gulf of Mexico...spreading the blessings of the Buddha.

I pray the energy of the blessings carry over to the Louisiana coast, up the Gulf to the peninsula, and that our hurricane season is mild and uneventful.

Is it true that there is another blue moon in June? The long, lengthening days are so beautiful now...don't feel like writing...more into listening to music, reading, and movies. But everything cycles around....as we round the corner to summer solstice, perhaps the energies will change....
