Saturday night was one of those nights that remind you why you moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida in the first place.....

Had a birthday dinner for a friend...went to the Mariott on Marco Island.....beachside restaurant in a beautiful hotel, walked the beach after dinner to a dazzling display of cloud wrapped sunset in the west....and to the east....an arc of rainbow spanning the entire eastern horizon.....later moving on to jazz at a local coffeehouse/restaurant and greeted by a rising moon slowly moving to fullness....

I am inducting all of my female friends, my sister, too, womyn of une certaine age
into the SysterHood of the Old Myrmaids....I found at the dollar store...packages of grow-your-own-mermaids.....you submerge them in water...they absorb the liquid and expand, and expand, and expand.....
