Update
My grandma died about 3 hours before our holiday party.  My mom wasn't with her, but she hadn't driven down for the party, so she was nearby.  I'm driving there next weekend to spend time with her.  No service - there's no one there who would attend anyway.  She had no friends, and honestly, she had no one who could tolerate her.  A very sad way to live . . . an even sadder way to die.

I'll blog about the party tomorrow, hopefully!
