UP and then down

Nothing like waking up to find that email in your inbox, wanting to see your work. I was so excited, just couldn't hold back. Had to rush off to the groups I'm in and gush, only to find out that the Agency is bad, bad, bad news. In an instant the balloon poped, and reality set in. As happy as I originally was, I am thrilled that I was warned before making a big mistake. So although you are worried about upsetting me, I can't thank you enough for saving me -lostdreams

Not only did you warn me in time, you were so helpful, and sent me off in the right direction. Because of this, I've sent Query's to two different, reputable agencies. So thank you. You showed me where to go to protect myself, and I appreciate it more than I can say.

We get so caught up in the constant rejections, hoping and praying that one day that will change. I've learned a valuable lesson, research agents and publishing houses before sending off a chunk or all of your work. I thouight it only fitting to share this great website that Kim sent me to today with the rest of you.

It was quite a shock to the see the Agency listed, and also that they'd changed their name. Too bad they didn't change their habits. At least the word is out, and by sharing this with all of you, hopefully no one will get taken advantage of. We throw our hearts, and souls into our work, and the fact that people are willing to take advantage of that knowledge really sucks.

I will remain undetered. And so should all of you!
