Anyone going to Austin?
Is anyone going to Austin Texas, April10-13 for the Poetry extravaganza?

http://www.aipf.org/

I ask because I'd like to be there! chalaedra lives in the region and I'm sure there are other WDC folks in the Hills of Texas. It would be good to get together.

ME:

I'm keeping track of the FTL entries I'm reading. Unfortunately, some of the folks do not have it set up as their blog, so I don't get a chance to leave a comment. Means I'll have to start e-mailing. There are 21 of us. That should total 441 entries if everyone has a chance to keep up. I expect only half will be written ... but still ... lots of reading. I think I read 23 last night. I try to comment on every entry. I wish the FTL folks would comment on mine (mine are done in a totally different style. I do 'lyrics' not 'stories'. I write poetry, not novels or essays.).

The wireless card is allowing me to sit at home and have internet. Still not 100% sold on it. Depends on: 1. whether I can go on the road with it. First test is Thursday. and 2. whether I can use under 50mb and afford $40/month or increase to 5 gb and pay $60. Seems expensive, but mobility is important to me. 3. Can I get a travel laptop like an ASUS EEE that will be compatible. Verizon requires Windows.

As for Thursday ... have to get up at 4 *Frown* in the morning? Silly me ...

From photos of yesteryears, my tulip picture for today:

Kansas: 50º and a WSW breeze. Sunny, on its way to 65º.
