Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills.

Met my yearly 'sketch' goal.
ME:

I read "Letter to Kwn" and "Old tin bucket" at the reading last night. I did okay and a friend, Tom, really liked it. I was surprised to see Elizabeth in the audience as well. Never know. Over 25 showed up.

I have passed my goal for poetic/prosaic sketches this year. I'll start over again on the First Day of Spring. May choose the same goal of 540-550/year = 1 1/2/day more or less. *Smile* Choosing more cuts into my reading, editing and submitting to publication goals. Less may lead to writer's block.

This blog has passed 3,000 views and is finally being read (even when not commented on *Smile*)

Saw my first crocus by Headhunter's. Both kinds. The small yellow and white star-like 'snow' crocus and the large purple globe-like ones. Spring has sprung.

Have the snow-birds (juncos) left? Saw starlings, cardinals and sparrows (galore) this morn. Must look closer.

Another tulip of yesteryear:

Kansas: 69º and clouding over. May go over 70.
