My blog--I pull a card--if it doesn't speak to me...perhaps it is for you?

Had a semi-wonderful Easter---got to see the grandkids on Good Friday night and again for most of Easter Sunday.

Went to my best friend's oldest's daughter's wedding on Saturday night. Drank lots of champagne and danced---even to the rap music. David and I went to the Waffle House after the wedding----sat at the counter---enjoyed listening to the young tattoed and pierced waittressess discussing their love lives----straight, gay, and bi-sexual. I decided if I really got fed up with my job I could probably work the night shift at Waffle House. Years ago, I worked night shift in an all-night restaurant in Pittsburgh----so I could probably do it again...though not sure if my knees and feet would hold out.....

Thurrsday night...a mid-week celebration for a friend's birthday....

So life goes round and round...but I feel unmotivated and uninspired.....fortunately mundane life requires some participation and the thread rolls out and unravels.

My husband is pressuring me to trade-in my car....it is leaking oil...has been to the shop twice.....I have a hard-time giving up my vehicles....I have a 1999 red Chevy Cavalier convertible....I love this car....it is fun, was affordable, a great find!

I am moving slowly toward the idea....maybe a PT Cruiser convertible, maybe a VW convertible.....suggestions and comments are appreciated

David wants me to trade while the Cavalier is still viable----I'd like to wait till it is completely kaput---then I might consider an inexpensive economy car---with a sunroof. I hate making these kinds of decisions.

Thoughts, opinions?
