Storyteller
I love writing to a list of prompt words----they set up a skeletal framework for a theme to emerge and you just go from there. I often try to go in a different direction, or more obscure one than the word list might suggest, but the following poem was pretty straightforward ----prompt words: storyteller, children, yesterday, horse, excited, sunshine, rain, ending. The words evoked a particular image and I needed to go with it....

a prose poem ---the storyteller doll

and I have bought a marine blue 2007 PT Cruiser Convertible----picking it up on Saturday!

In the Gaian tarot, Joanna Powell represents the Heirophant, card #5, in a way that speaks to me of the storyteller doll. She chooses an image of an elder teacher, and that's what this card signifies to me. If I were ceating my own tarot deck, the Sage, or Heirophant, would be an image of a storyteller doll.
