The Waiting Game

Time moves slow

at least it does for me today. I am addicted to my little chat sessions with a handful of friends on this site, and haven't seen but one around today. Is it the weather? Who knows. All I know is that being here without the IM banter, is kinda boring.

Anyway. I was a bit productive. Finished a new poem. Let's see, it only took me 5 days to perfect. How is it that I can slam out a chapter in a day if I wanted to, but it takes me almost a week to write a poem? I so want someone to explain that me, even though I know the answer.

Work was slow, which was a blessing in disguise. I got to hang out here and get some reviews done. But even that isn't as much as it used to be. Must be burned out I imagine. So I guess I'll have to jump back into Megan's Man and figure out where to go since I've cut a character out, changed Megan from innocent to bold, and made Joe her one night stand. A writer's work is never done.
