It looks like another long day
Kamál (Perfection), 12 Jalál (Glory), 166 BE – Monday, April 20, 2009 about 7:50 AM Pacific Time

Mom has a pre-surgery consultation at 11:15 AM and then we have to go to the hospital and pre-admit her. I don't know how long either will take, but a long time I suspect. We're supposed to be at the Baha'i Center on West Oakey at 6:30 PM, so I hope these things don't take all day.

Mom is in a real state this morning and it looks as if she is going to have a bad day. I'm attempting not to let Mom's mood affect me, but I'm having a difficult time with that at this moment. I'm going to finish this post, take a bath, eat breakfast, and make sandwiches to take with us.

When I woke up this morning I thought it would be a good day. I said my prayers and wrote two poems. I'm getting tired all ready and the morning is wearing. Not wearing on, just wearing. I'm probably going to have to call a family conference sometime within the next few months concerning Mom. I'm not looking forward to that, but the rest of the family needs to be informed of the situation. I know the situation must be a difficult for Mom as it is for me. I keep trying to be positive about everything, but it's becoming difficult.

I have a Blog It challenge coming up today, so I hope I can get back on-line to write my response to the challenge. I'm going to close this now, take a bath and see if I can reason with Mom.

I cannot let anyone else determine my mood!
