Blog Alternatives
It's almost been like old times tonight. After socialising with friends last night and a fruitless girly shopping day today, I signed into WDC and found lots of names I recognised on the blog list. It's a while since I had the feeling that I haven't enough time to catch up with everyone.

The last few weeks has seen a decline in the blogs I generally read and much as it saddens me familiar names are no longer around, there is the advantage of spending less time reading and commenting and more time for other fruitful activities.

So, what exactly have I been doing with this unexpected free time? Well, firstly I thought I'd check all the sites I've bookmarked on my favourites list on the computer. It worried me a little when I discovered there are several sites I can't remember joining, have no idea what my sign in name and passwords are or what purpose the sites serve.

Then I thought I'd spend a little time looking on ebay for a medieval costume to wear at a themed wedding I'm going to in August. Some sites have this awful habit of sending you off at a tangent and causing amnesia, so you forget what you went there for in the first place. I'm now the proud owner of a Scarlett O' Hara outfit complete with hat, bee and ladybird costumes and a nurse's uniform with added stethoscope and thermometer.

Next, I thought it the opportunity to explore Facebook a little more thoroughly. After taking various vital quizzes to discover who I was in a former life, what colour underwear best suits my personality and how many times a week I need sex, I went off to visit Farmtown. I have never spent so much time ploughing, watering, sowing, reaping and going to market to sell my wares. Not only on my own farm, but going over to others to help out there too.

So, as you can tell, I'm using the time I've gained most productively. *Rolleyes* Maybe tomorrow I'll even contemplate actually writing, but I won't hold my breath. Once a procrastinator, always a procrastinator.

A friend told me YouTube, Twitter and Facebook have all combined to make a new website. It's called YouTwitFace. Now that's one I think I should definitely join.
