I'm writing poetry again

I'm writing poetry again and posting to contests. Today I wrote "GETTIN' OLD IS NOT FOR SISSIES!"  and posted it to the senior center contest. I asked to join the senior center a few days ago and received an affirmative in my e-mail box today. I checked out the contest and decided to write a poem.

That wasn't the first poem I wrote today, I think I wrote four or five poems today. However, I haven't posted the others to my port or to a contest yet. I'm not precisely sure what happened, all I know is that last night (after reviewing some sonnets), I decided to write a sonnet inspired by the prayer Blessed is the Spot. I finish that poem this morning, then I went on to write other poems.

I'll post some of the others I've written as soon as I clean out my port or get a premium membership. I'm more hopeful then I've been in a long time. I'm less worried, something has changed but I'm not sure what. I've been doing a lot of praying lately, so that is probably the reason.
