An Apple a Day
Istiqlál (Independence), 19 Kalimát (Words), 166 BE – Friday, July 31, 2009 about 9:43 AM Pacific Time

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
An onion a day keeps everybody away.
Old American Saying

I like both apples and onions. I'm especially fond of onion sandwiches. I don't have any onions in the house right now, but I do have several cans of applesauce. I'm not sure how many cans are in the house. I think there are about dozen cans in the fridge. Mom can't eat applesauce, so it's up to me to eat the stuff.

If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, I wonder what a can of applesauce a day will do. I'm going to find out! I'm going to start eating a can of applesauce everyday for breakfast. Eventually I'll get all the applesauce out of the fridge and into my stomach.

I put the applesauce in the fridge because I like it either cold or hot, but not room temperature. Each time I remove a can of applesauce from the fridge, then I put another one in that way I always have cold applesauce to eat.
