Judgement
In the darkness of my room
I hide myself away
From the rest of the world
In the boundaries of my room
No one can reach me
No one can touch me
It's here that I feel safest
It's here where I can be myself
The world can be cruel at it's best
The world can be judgemental
No one seems to understand me
I sometimes wonder whether
People who say they love me, really do?
I look aroud and see so many smiles
Yet when I act differently than expected
Those smiles turn into snarls from beasts
Who can I trust?
Who can I love?
Who will love me for the person I am?
Am I really so different from anyone else?
Are those around me really sincere?
Why do people judge me so readily?
Who is to say that they're right and I am wrong?
No one really knows me
And on one seems to really care
It's no wonder I lock myself away
From the rest of the world!
