This is a collection of poetry I have written over the years.

Separation
Life was simpler in the early days
The first blooming of love
Tenderness shared
Pains halved

Following the paths of those before us
We tied the knot
Marking our commitment
Our choice to complete the circle

Then darkness loomed
Threatening to tear us apart
Hearts are being torn in two
As we now drift apart

Can what we have
Be salvaged and repaired
Or are we kidding ourselves?
Lying to ourselves?

Fear and anxiety are back
The light at the end of the tunnel
Has once again disappeared
Love isn't enough anymore

Will space help to bring us closer
Or cement the looming separation
Dreams are being shattered
Furtures destroyed

Darkness appears to be
My only friend now
Praying for the numbing feeling
To spread throughout my body

To be no more aware of the pain
Than I have been already
To end the overwhelming pain
To end this horrible period

Taking the easy way out
Is not my style
So I must persist with the pain
And try to find myself again
