Promises made
Are promises broken

You tell me you love me
Yet you tear my heart apart at the seems

Does it bring you joy
To see me at rock bottom?

Does it make you feel better
If I feel worse?

Next time you say you love someone
Make sure it's the truth

You were my last attempt at love
Now that life will never be mine

You will move on
You'll find love elsewhere

How do I know you haven't already?
How do I know that I ever had your love in the first place?

Next time you say "I Do"
Make sure you mean it!
