I tried Welsh rarebit once. It was interesting, it would have been more interesting if I had the proper side dishes to go along with it. I don't like to serve anything to people I haven't tried one or two times. If I try a new food, I like to experiment with different side dishes. I won't serve anything to anyone unless I've tried it several time myself with different side dishes.

One of my pet peeves is people who use their sprinklers while it's raining. Of course, there is little chance of that at present. We're experiencing a drought in Las Vegas. This means that the water police are looking for people who do silly things like wash their cars in their yards. This explains why my car isn't washed. I'm going to have to wash it this month. I'm tired of driving a dirty car.

It did rain sometime within the past two weeks. It rained just enough to move the dirt around on my car. It rained just enough to leaves spots on my windshield. It didn't rain enough to alleviate the drought or wash my car, but it did rain.

I have a lot of pet peeves, it would take too long and too many blog entries to list them. Lately, my pet peeves have to do with drivers. We have some really weird drivers here in Las Vegas. I think it's because most of the people who live here learned to drive someplace else. I learned to drive in Oklahoma, which is an interesting experience in itself.

Another of my pet peeves concerns parking and the way people park. All right, I can't parallel park so I don't complain about the way people parallel park. What really bugs me about parking is people who take up more then one parking place. There aren't a lot of parking meters here, so most of the time you don't have to worry about putting quarters in the meters or using your credit card or debit card for them. Therefore, people park any way they please and some take up two spaces when one will do.
