No bozos in Bozeman, just chewie kitties.
It was a balmy and sunny 38º when I got off the bus in Bozeman at 3 pm. (The record low in 1962 was -45º) when Chewie Kittie met me and whisked me off to the library for coffee. Since she was treating I ordered a raspberry-orange latté! Which was good actually. *Smile*

We talked about sundry things and I read her two of my poems and she gave me a kitty notebook. *Cat* Since I love cats, this was most apropos.

We have a similar interest in Geology; although I'm jealous as she is pursuing a degree in it. I think she should take a trip to Costa Rica to investigate the recent volcanic activity there... just saying...

So, I sit in a wonderful place where I just consumed a corn pekora, an ab-fab garlic pasta salad and a sweet potato quesadilla. *Bigsmile* I'm waiting for the next earthquake... they've had 15 in the last three days, none while I'm here though. Bozeman is 77 miles from Yellowstone and the earth moves in this region. The strongest yesterday was a 3.8.

This is definitely the place to be when the volcano we call Yellowstone blows though. Death comes quickly in a pyroclastic flow... believe me it's less painful than living through it.

So, I got Teresa to sign my WdC "passport". I've been blessed now to meet 7 members of WdC. *Cool* We should have a retreat for Blogville. I think Mandan, North Dakota outside of Bismarck sounds great, doesn't it vivacious ? In January... (rates are sure to be low...)

Anyhoo, back on the low-flying Dog at 8:35 pm. Montana Standard Time. I'll be sliding through the Black Hills and Rapid City at 8 am. and then Sioux Falls and Omaha before arriving Friday night in Des Moines. The area is under a winter storm watch... so we'll see if all the connections work out.

Note to partyof5 : Teresa was wearing MSU blue, but I kept my UM maroon (as in gloves, scarf, turtle, sweater, shirt...) in my backpack. Didna want to upset any hungry Bobcats looking for Bear... *Smirk*
