February Blogdown Entry Day 2: Feb. 16
What's your venue? Novels-poetry-short stories-flash fiction-blogging-journalizing-essay-feature articles-or other? Why did you choose to write in this venue-or did it choose you?

I started out writing poetry and then expanded to blogging, short stories, flash fiction and novels. I am also attempting to write essays and considering some article ideas.

Poetry chose me. Writing poems has nothing to do with choice it is an obsession. I must write stanza and line. After the first poem, I had to improve so I began taking writing class and joined writing.com. My poems improved and then I decided to expand into other venue.

There are times when I want to give up. To throw in the keyboard and forget there is such a thing as poetry or any writing venue. I cannot there is something in me that prevents me from giving up and turning my back on my talent. I have to write. I have to write poetry. I have to make blog entries.

The more I write, the more I exercise my talent, my creative. The only way to develop a talent is to practice writing poetry, blog entries, short stories, etc. The goal is not perfection, because perfection is always one or two miles ahead of where I am right now. The goal is to improve rather then to achieve perfection because once perfection is achieved then improvement stops.
